Leverforce is a Business Analysis practice offering a highly specialized requirement management model that comprises IIBA-certified seasoned business analysts, a project business analysis process built on BABOK® and PMBOK® accepted tasks, and our own proprietary requirement management tools (Leverforce SAAS).
Project Initiation
For clients who need our BAs to function as a project initiation service, gathering requirements and negotiating agreements between their business users and IT providers
Example: Your IT governance relies on our BA resources (People, Processes, and Tools) to function as your internal BA team in charge of expediting project initiation.
SCRUM
For IT providers who want to ensure the solutions designed fully realize their product offering
Example: You are a solution provider with your own development resources and stack of products but you rely on our BAs, architects, and technology experts to increase the value provided to your clients. Leverforce team acts as your designated consultant to analyze your clients' needs and define applications of the technologies you offer.

We make a smart use of Open Source tools during Project Initiation and integrate your approved requirements seamlessly into your JIRA instance when working on scrums
We follow a down-to-earth application of the Business Analysis Framework of reference (BABOK®) when conducting business analysis activities. We maintain and share the body of guidelines and knowledge that support our BA activities in the Leverforce Academy. This flexible framework enables us to follow any methodology implemented by our clients: AGILE, SAFE, ITIL®, Waterfall, etc.

The Business Analyst then works with your solution architects and implementation experts to define a high level design of the technical components of the solution, and of the operational and organizational changes needed to implement it successfully.

User Story Mapping

The BA takes on the Project Owner role during the scrum and facilitates joint design with the development team, fleshing out project initiation requirements in JIRA user stories.

Refinements & Acceptance

The BA brokers agreements on stakeholder prioritization to enable epic and sprint planning. He also clarifies and refines acceptance criteria, and expectations on the ´definition of done´ for the user stories. As the technical team is ready to deliver the functionality, the BA remains engaged to facilitate user acceptance of delivered products.
